HRTC has developed a Nutritional Food Preparation Skills course. 

HRTC offer this course to our students in the Atlantic Terrace & Community Neighborhood Networks Center located at 4319 3rd Street SE Washington, DC 20032, along with the ServSafe course as a part of required training in the area of food preparation.

The course meets nutritional guidelines for healthy eating habits, disease and illness prevention, and other food safety routines to reduce the risks of food contamination.  

We prepared the meals for the children mentoring through Life Skills and the Sports Recreational Programs.  We are serving meals to the children at the Atlantic Terrace & Community Neighborhood Networks Center and the Southern Hills Family Center Neighborhood Network in Ward 8.
